Atarah believes that art comes from everyday life. The boots reflect this by being colourful and cheerful. She used graphic design elements, Chinese calligraphy, lines and blocks of colour to add dimension and contrast to the piece.
Atarah Huang is an international student from China and is currently a 4th year student at York University, majoring in Visual Arts. She has a strong background in both Canadian and Asian culture. Her recent works focus on digital photography and painting.
When Atarah is not working on her art, she participates in student associations and publishes student magazines. She loves to hang out with friends to have fun and to get inspiration. Atarah also has a deep passion for travel.
