Marco Bucci paints his way through life. Painting is his favourite way to understand the world, both aesthetically and emotionally. One of his biggest passions is observing real life, and learning how to accurately simplify it into the language of brushstrokes. In accompaniment with that, he still has a childlike fascination with cartoons and caricature. When he's not painting from life, he sets out to entertain viewers with illustrative realities. No matter what kind of picture he's painting, Marco feels that the goal is to always tell the viewer some sort of story. So whether it's capturing the individual-ness of somebody through portraiture, seizing the light in a landscape, or showing the character of a boy and a girl standing outside with an umbrella, he's just thankful to be painting.
