These boots were inspired by the debate of nature versus nurture. It is a continual question for Lisa: "Why are we the way we are?" After the fact to Lisa's delight she noticed how she chose to place the words nature and nurture, the boots ended up with the message of “nurture nature”.
Lisa Smolkin is trained in art therapy and has amassed 1000+ of her own drawings, self-published books and newsletters. Lisa's inspiration comes from pop culture, emotions, childhood, invisibility/marginalization and colours. She likes dreaming and being dreamy.
