Kim has always been fascinated by the fusion of art and technology/science. She wanted to suggest that union somehow in her parasol design. She did this by painting words using various computer fonts on a more symbolic lime background that represents the beauty of art and nature.
Kim Cullion has been drawing and painting since a very young age. She studied Mathematics and Visual Arts at UWO, where she continued an interest in photography and representational drawing and painting.
In 2007, Kim decided to combine her areas of study by completing a one year post-graduate program at Sheridan College in Interactive Multimedia. She currently works in Toronto as a Web designer/developer.
