The boots are an inspiration of long awaited life. No matter what the season we are always looking for rebirth. Nothing represents that better than the cool showers of April and the burst of life soon after.
Alison lives in her rubber boots. Literally. All year round her boots get a workout. In the morning she feeds the horses with pyjamas tucked in, then she mucks the stall later in the day and is usually out around the barn or property 2 or 3 times before sundown. The only time she doesn't wear her boots is when we are hit with a steamer of a summer and she opts for a low rise version. She also travels with her rubber boots. True! She has a horse trailer and always packs her boots since, where you have horses you have muck and mud.
Alison Griffiths have been an author and journalist for 25 years but most recently has had the good fortune to host Maxed Out, a financial lifestyle show. She is the co-author of 10 books (fiction and non-fiction and a produced screenplay).
